What ICX does

ICX provides a forum for its members (businesses, organisations and individuals) enabling them to have a voice in the future of electronic commerce.

• promoting industry initiated, pan-European information security standards, guidelines and solutions
• providing technical and legal guidelines for electronic commerce
• providing security infrastructures for business
• promoting consensus between the European Commission, government agencies and industry
• providing co-ordination of European Commission electronic commerce security projects

ICX's objective is to remove the technical, security, legal, regulatory, commercial, financial, educational and business best practice barriers to secure electronic commerce.

Within this framework ICX provides and promotes:
